What is Sikkim Manipal University’s accreditation status?

Sikkim Manipal University holds a NAAC A+ grade and is recognised by the UGC, and its programmes are AICTE compliant. This institutional accreditation applies to its online degrees, which makes them valid for government roles, competitive examinations and further education.

What are the eligibility criteria and how do I apply?

Undergraduate programmes require a pass in 10+2 (or an equivalent) and postgraduate programmes require a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university; minimum aggregate requirements vary by programme. Admission is fully online — you submit an application, upload your academic and identity documents and pay the fee to confirm your seat.

Do I need to take an entrance exam, or is admission direct?

Admission to most programmes is direct, based on merit from your previous qualifications, without a separate entrance exam. Some programmes may consider prior academic performance for scholarship eligibility, but direct entry is the standard route.

What does the fee structure look like, and can I pay in instalments?

Fees vary by programme and can usually be paid in full, per semester, or in monthly instalments through financing partners. Exact amounts and payment plans are confirmed at the time of admission — refer to each programme’s fee details for current figures.

How are classes delivered and examinations conducted?

Programmes are delivered entirely online through a learning management system with recorded lectures and digital study material you can access anytime, alongside live interactive sessions. Examinations are proctored and conducted online, so you can study and appear for assessments from anywhere.
